Scheduled

We have opened a broad maintenance window for one of the remaining batches of VPS server migrations in the US - Central Region from Proxmox VE 8 to Proxmox VE 9.

No action is required on your part.

The migration of VPS servers between physical hosts is an automated process. While the maintenance window spans a longer period to accommodate the migration of multiple VPS servers, your individual VPS will only be affected during its own migration, typically for just a few minutes.

During the final stage of the migration, your VPS may experience a brief interruption while the remaining disk data is synchronized, the VPS is started on the new physical host, and network connectivity is restored.

No changes will be made to your VPS configuration, operating system, applications, or data as part of this maintenance. This work simply migrates your existing VPS to newer physical infrastructure running Proxmox VE 9.

This maintenance is part of our ongoing infrastructure lifecycle and platform modernization efforts as we complete the migration of the remaining Gen5 VPS servers from Proxmox VE 8 to Proxmox VE 9.

If you have any questions or experience any unexpected issues following the migration, please open a support ticket through your Gen5 Dashboard, and our Technical Team will be happy to assist.
