This will only impact VPS servers on this single physical server in our US -Central (Minneapolis) data center. No other clients in this data center, nor our other data center locations will be impacted by this maintenance window.

The Reason:
Due to the two recent outages affecting the same physical server we are scheduling to do a migration of all VPS clients off of the physical server that had issues earlier today. Earlier this week the issue appeared to be a single memory module having issues, during the unschedule downtime staff replaced the module, but today the same memory slot/module location is reporting errors. The conclusion is a failing motherboard in this server.

The Process:
Each VPS client's server is powered down, the virtual hard drive of your data is transferred to a different server in the data center and powered back up. There are no other changes or impacts to you or your data.

While the maintenance window is 5 hours in length you will NOT be down that long, rather most client's VPSs will be down individually for approximately 1 minute to 15 minutes, again depending on the actual amount of data you have stored and the length of time it takes to transfer that across the network to the new server.

While we are sorry for additional outages at all, we would rather get your VPS servers moved over to a different server then risk having further issues of a longer nature if this system were to have further issues.
